The Flower Bar and Workshops
At the Florist of Poundbury, we have a passion for everything to do with flowers and floral design. We are keen to share our enthusiasm and knowledge with others to help them understand the design, practical skill and story of flowers. We want others to be able to create and share their own stories through the language and design of flowers.
Besides consultations and appointments to discuss client needs for Wedding Flowers, Tribute flowers and/ or events that require flowers and floral arrangements, we also offer workshops and classes. At our premises in Poundbury we have installed a unique workshop table- our Flower Bar. At the Flower Bar we have run successful and popular seasonal flower and floral workshops.
Our 'hands-on' workshops enable you to learn how to confidently handle and shape flowers to create your own beautiful designs under the guidance of our qualified and award-winning Professional Florist. During these workshops, tools and materials will be provided and at the end of them you will proudly get to take home what you have created.
We also offer the opportunity to book events, such as bespoke floral Hen and Stag parties, birthday parties or corporate events where you can learn how to make floral circlets and/ or button-holes.

The feedback from the Christmas Wreath workshops was overwhelmingly positive and this year they proved to be a real success. Everyone made their own beautiful Christmas Wreath and had a wonderful evening.
